Single Screen does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no network access, and no account of any kind.

Accessibility permission

Single Screen asks for Accessibility access to trigger native fullscreen on your Mac's frontmost window — the same underlying mechanism as the green fullscreen button — and to detect when a window exits fullscreen so the dimming on your other displays can be removed. This permission is never used to read window content, keystrokes, or any other information, and nothing obtained through it ever leaves your Mac.

Data storage

Your preferences (dim intensity, dim color, keyboard shortcut, launch-at-login setting) are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS preferences storage. Nothing is synced, backed up to iCloud, or sent to any server.
